Open up. Be present. Do what matters.

Transformative mental healthcare

I’m Olivia, a clinical social worker licensed in Maryland offering individual counseling and clinical supervision. I engage deeply in my work by prioritizing mindful listening and attunement. My approach is ideal for those who are ready to feel more in touch with themselves and their values. I support my clients as they begin taking actions that align with what they truly care about in life and release old beliefs that no longer serve them.

Values that inform my work:

Depth Autonomy

Compassion Peace

Presence Curiosity

6 Core Processes of ACT:

Learn to build acceptance for uncomfortable emotions, thoughts and sensations rather than pushing them away.

Develop flexibility with cognitive defusion skills that help you take a step back from your internal experience.

Anchor your awareness in the present moment with mindfulness practice.

Meet the deepest part of who you are with self-as-context, a part of you that observes your experience without getting caught up by it.

Get back in touch with your values and what matters most to you in life.

Start taking committed action toward a life with meaning, even when pain is present.

Behind her, there are wooden shelves with books and decorative items, and a black desk lamp is on the right side.

Releasing trauma with EMDR

EMDR is a powerful evidence-based intervention for trauma disorders or other distressing life experiences. When engaging in EMDR therapy I will lead you through an 8-phase treatment protocol to target memories from the past, present-day disturbances and any future triggers.

I use EMDR to assist my clients in letting go of negative beliefs, strengthen adaptive perspectives and heal from their past traumas. You can expect to come away from our sessions with more insight, self-compassion and resiliency.
