My approach
Welcome here.
I’m Olivia Wackett, owner of Salt Path Counseling and mental health therapist.
In my therapeutic practice I show up to each session as a whole, authentic person to meet you in a space grounded in genuine human connection. My approach is centered on creating an environment where meaningful transformation can unfold. I develop strong therapeutic relationships where your growth is supported by my compassionate presence and clinical insights. I believe deeply in the power of life-changing experiences and in the body and mind’s natural capacity to move toward healing. In my sessions, I integrate mindfulness practices and evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR. Together, these tools support your growth, resilience and ability to navigate life with greater clarity and ease.
Providing you with a safe space to relax
All your appointments will take place in a natural-light filled office environment with complimentary tea and water, and individualized care.
In-person and remote options
My office is located on the third floor of a historic building in downtown Salisbury and is only accessible by stairs. I offer virtual care for any clients requiring mobility accommodations, or who would prefer to meet with me remotely for convenient scheduling.

Testimonials
“I’ve known Olivia for years and admire the grounded, caring energy she brings to her work. Through ACT, she helps clients meet life’s challenges with openness and courage, while staying connected to their values and inner strength.”
— Diana Barabas, LCSW-CFormer Colleague
“Olivia is the kind of leader that supervisors should strive to be. Prudent and level-headed, she balances guidance and opportunities for autonomy amongst those she oversees, clients and clinicians alike. I’ve learned much working under her in CMH, most of which have become foundational pieces of my professional & personal perspectives.
— Zach Thomas, LCPCFormer Supervisee
“Attending the yoga and mindfulness night with Olivia was a rejuvenating experience. The Wildwood Lavender Farm was the perfect scenic setting for the evenings practice. Both the yoga and meditation were accessible and peaceful. I would attend again, so I highly recommend the experience.
